“We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly.”
Sam Keen
Practice deep breathing.
Inhale slowly through your nose to the count of 10. Hold for 2 and then exhale to the count of 10.
Chew food throughly.
“Chew food until it’s a pasta helps you absorb more nutrients,” notes Renee Barasch owner of Nutritional Health Solutions. “if you also makes digestion easier and reduces excess bacteria in your intestines that leads to gas, bloating, diarrhea, constipation and yeast issues.”
Hydrate Drink Water
Drink at least one quart (32 oz) of water per 50 lbs. of body weight per day. Drink as much as you can before noon and don’t drink for 1 to 2 hours after a meal and no closer than 30 minutes prior to a meal. Avoid drinking water with meals recommends Renee Barasch owner of Nutritional Health Solutions. “Water dilutes your digestive juices, which you need to break down your food,”
Accountability Tip 44 – Ready or Not
Ready or Not “Time will Come” and “Time will Go”
Wow!!! April is here, spring is here and along with it we have completed the first quarter of the year. A few months ago we shared the story of Roxanne saying she had done all she could do in regards to what was going on in her life at the time. I responded; have you really? That was one of many moments that led us on the journey of transformation and finding simple solutions to everyday problems. Dr. SheLution is our chosen vehicle for sharing. So at the end of last quarter we decided to make simple steps to see if we had done all we could do to make our dream of blogging come true. We realized we needed to renew our commitment and maintain consistency. Today we would like to share our 1stquarter progress.
We made the simple step of consistently posting a newsletter each week. Sometimes it was in the ninth hour but together we did it. We had weekly meetings on the phone or at a predetermined location. RoxAnne added video’s, taken in her car; this took away any excuses and opportunities to procrastinate. Then she found a time saving way to post quotes. These steps have led to an increase in our subscribers. It has also impacted our likes and shares on Facebook.
RoxAnne was also able to go on a Caribbean cruise in January and has found simple solutions for taking a trip economically. She has also maintained commitment to her goals with the Nike fuel band.
After honing my skills at customer service I was given an opportunity to advance and grow at a new company so I made the decision to make the change. I was also able to entertain my son from Washington State and spend some girl time with my daughter.
During this quarter our mother was in the hospital in critical condition 240 miles away in Indianapolis for just shy of 2 months and we spent many days at her bedside. We connected with my dad and baby sister Stephanie to make sure there was a smooth transition for Mom’s return home. Life has had its challenges but we had our goals and with perseverance we are here marveling at what we have accomplished.
What were your 1st quarter goals? We encourage you to take a moment and reflect on the last three months. You may have accomplished more than you thought or you may want to establish a priority for this next quarter. Keep in mind life will happen whether you plan on it or not. It is up to you to know what you want or where you are going so that you are steadily moving forward one step at a time towards that goal. You may have to make changes and you may encounter storms and distractions but with a plan and determination you will achieve positive results.
