Change, It can do a body good!!!
Andy Andrews introduced us to the Law of Sensitive Dependence Upon Initial Conditions aka the “Butterfly Effect” which was ruled authentic, accurate and viable by the scientific community. Everything you do matters. Everything has an effect on everything else and to change one thing could ultimately change everything. Many times we think to ourselves, “I wish I had…,” or “if only…,” or many other regretful thoughts. Hindsight is said to be 20/20. However; even hindsight cannot give you a complete view of what you would gain or lose, if you changed even one of your past choices.
The bible has in its scriptures that “all things work together for our good.” If you believe this is true then we would like you to entertain this thought “Nothing happens to you it happens for You.” It releases you from the need, desire or inclination to entertain negative ruminations over the past. Or simply put, regret.
Our lives are filled with choices and some of those choices make us happy and others make us sad and yet others are downright painful. Sometimes life gives us good things and other times it appears to take things from us. The best choice we can make is to make the best decision we can make with the information we have at the time. Sometimes those choices will be thoughtful other times thoughtless. Sometimes we are led by heart, the mind and yet other times by Spirit. These choices we make will lead to changes and we encourage you to embrace the changes that comes from living and to live each day to the fullest.
Look to the past for wisdom and understanding not to pass judgment. Life knows what you need to learn. It understands where you need to grow. It is connected to the wisdom of the ages and will only help you be the God child you were meant to become. This week we encourage you take a look at the changes you may be ready and/or required to make. Do not fight it, don’t be depressed or repulsed by it; just accept it as a part of life’s plan for growth and development.
