Hydrate Drink Water

Drink at least one quart (32 oz) of water per 50 lbs. of body weight per day. Drink as much as you can before noon and don’t drink for 1 to 2 hours after a meal and no closer than 30 minutes prior to a meal. Avoid drinking water with meals recommends Renee Barasch owner of Nutritional Health Solutions. “Water dilutes your digestive juices, which you need to break down your food,”

Saving Alert 4 – Water Heating Cost

Lowering your water heater's temperature from 140 to 120 degrees can reduce water heating costs by up to 10%. This temperature will also help prevent scalding. Check the owner's manual for safety instructions before making any changes to your water heater's settings. After lowering the temperature on the water heater, use a thermometer of water flowing from your faucets.

Savings Alert

The Key is Change…

Not quarters, dimes or nickels but the change you make in how you think and feel about saving.  To save does not always mean putting money in the bank this will come.  First examine your emotions regarding saving.  Do you feel saving is impossible, do you think about lack or unpaid bills? If so, change your thinking.

Think how can I get more from this dollar? How can I cut costs? Save coupons or utilize rewards programs for most frequently used purchases.  Cook in batches and/or shop in bulk.  Each time you spend money, think, how can I save when spending this dollar?  When you cut spending, you are saving money.  A great salesperson always asks for the sale.  A great  saver always asks for a discount.  A great thinker always expects direction.
