Slow Cooker Recipe: Spaghetti Meat Sauce
Spaghetti Meat Sauce
- 2 lb. Ground Chuck
- 1 lb. Italian sausage
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 cup chopped green peppers
- 1 cup chopped mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 (1-lb.) cans tomatoes, chopped
- 1 (8-oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (12-oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 Tablespoons dried parsley
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 dried oregano leaves
- 1 dried basil leaves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Break up pieces of meat with a fork and mix together.
- Combine meat in a slow cooker with remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
- Serve over hot spaghetti, noodles, or pasta.
