DIY Lunchable

Make this great DIY Lunchable were you control the calories.

I seen this ideal on Facebook, (sorry not sure of the original source) it is brilliant.  Make your own lunchable and you will save money, control calories and save the plant.  Love it.

I turned my health snack into a portable lunchable.  All you need is a 8 ounce ball jar, a empty fruit cup and your health snack.  This is such great for advance lunch prep, fix your snacks for the entire week.  This great ideal can be used on my any snack that you want to separate dry and wet items.  I also like it is a great portion control size.

Recycle: Bathroom Items

Don’t forget those bathroom items when you recycle.

I was surprised with the number of recyclables I found on my bathroom counter top. I also did not know that there are different types of recyclables and the recycle stamp is normally on the bottom of the item.

Bathroom Recyclables

Did you know that only about 30% of #1 Polyethylene Terephthalate (PETE) and #2 High-Desity Polyethylene (HEDE) plastic bottles and jars get recycled each year. That number can increase dramatically if Americans consistently recycle their bathroom items.

Embrace Change:Recycle

#2 High-Desity Polyethylene (HEDE)

Examples of HEDE are milk jugs, clean agents, laundry detergents, bleach agents, shampoo bottles, washing and shower soaps.  With the exception of the milk a lot of these items can be found in your bathroom or laundry room.

#2HDPE Recyclables

Recycling kitchens items seem to come easier for us to remember than bathroom items. Our challenge is to increase our #2 HDPE items above the 30% average per year. Since these items take a longer time to consume, give yourself a memory jogger by putting a “X” with a permanent marker on all items that are recyclable.  My husband checks each trash container before taking out the trash to ensure everything gets sorted correctly.

Bathroom recyclables

 #1 Polyethylene Terephthalate (PETE)

Examples of #1 PETE are soft drinks, mineral water, fruit juice containers and cooking oil bottles.  You can find these items in your kitchens.

Catch Hell, Don’t Hold It

Accountability Tip 67 – Catch hell, don’t hold it

The lyrics “Catch Hell, Don’t Hold It” by Ron Kenoly is the title of this weeks post.

This week ‘s challenge is a call to action; walk by faith, standing in fear and sinking in despair is not an option. Everyday we face challenges that test our resolve. Situations and circumstances can and will paralyze us with fear if we allow it.It is our charge to awaken the awesome power of faith that lies within us. Faith is action, it is fluid, it requires movement even if that movement is simply imagining and believing a more positive outcome. Believing for your highest good or better.

The lyrics of a song by Ron Kenoly say, “if you catch hell don’t hold it and when you are going through hell don’t stop.” This song reminds me that fear will come my way but it is important to release it and keep moving away from its clutches.

We were all encouraged, by this years National Little League World Series winners. Chicago’s Jackie Robinson West Southside’s; proved that when you put fear aside and believe, you can achieve a dream of a lifetime. Practice after practice, game after game and win after win led them to be heralded as National Champions. They touch the heart of their city, state and nation impacting little league organizations everywhere.

What fear is holding you back from your next accomplishment? Who is not receiving your help? Where are you not going? Who are you not loving? What are you not giving? Who and what are you not standing up and protecting?

Make your list. Find a book, friend or professional organization to help you overcome these fears. Send us questions here at Dr. SheLution we know a little about a lot things, maybe we can help or direct you. Remember fears paralyze end dreams; however reaching out for help makes your aspirations endless.

Choose to move ahead in faith believing that you make a difference. Your faith move today may make the difference in your living tomorrow.

Much love, Many blessings…Namaste!!! Sheila
